A Sad Day

I hate when this day finally comes. I dread it. I loathe it. I postpone it as long as possible. It feels like it changes everything. It turns my sweet baby boy into a little boy, so much more grown up than they need to be.

It was finally here...... the much hated first haircut.

You have to understand, they no longer look like my baby. And in reality, they are still very much babies.

I loved his long hair. It bounced and flew around as he would run.
And, yes, I know he has a black eye and no, I have no idea how he got it.

A Day in the Maize

 Which way do I go?

In The Arms of Their Father

This image brings so many thoughts to my mind and not just about my husband and our boys.
I think of the fact that this is how I often picture my relationship with God. He carries me through my crazy, "adventure-filled" life in him might arms.
